- You must make a key-frame for the Bone before you set it's rest position.

- If you don't make a keyframe, then the bone will snap back to it's original
- position and since it is now active, it will drag along that part of the
- object and make a real mess.

- So the correct procedure for setting a Bone's rest position is to place it
- where you want it to be, make a key frame, and then press 'R' to set the
- rest position...after setting rest positions for all your bones you can
- start animating with them.
